Brianne
Brianne.jpg

Dr. Brianne Scott PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS - Runner Health

Dr. Brianne Scott is a physical therapist and endurance sport enthusiast who has been working with endurance athletes for over 10 years. Her physical therapy treatment and coaching philosophy centers on keeping athletes healthy and happy for the life of their running without sacrificing health outside of running.

After running DI cross country and track in college, Brianne went on to compete in various road races and triathlons, including a marathon and several half-ironman events. However, injuries and illness kept her from stringing together any amount of successful training or racing. What she thought was “cutting back” on training was not enough. Fatigue, extreme anxiety, and illness eventually took over and resulted in an inability to continue training.

Through this trialing experience, her own return to health and training, and through treating hundreds of motivated athletes like herself, she has learned the keys to balancing the stressors of life and training. It is her goal to help runners realize they can achieve even greater performances in running and endurance all while staying healthy and happy for a lifetime of movement.

She is now co-found of Omega Project in Wilmington, Delaware and treats runners and endurance athletes through a mix of cutting edge technology and holistic treatment approaches that focus on the fundamentals of health, wellness, and movement.

From the ashes come love and inspiration.

After a traumatic cycling accident, a dear friend gave me a beautiful Blessed Mary medal to wear when I ride on the roads to train for my triathlons. I placed this special piece on some gemstone beads and wore it to bring me comfort and calm at all times. It brought me so much relief and renewed my confidence that I made a few bracelets for dear friends that were in need of some positive energy in their lives. Their enthusiasm and serenity was the inspiration to design a line of handmade, unique jewelry that merges the powers of vintage medals that people have prayed and relied upon with natural gemstone beads that have holistic meanings such as healing, forgiveness and calming.
