What is EmpowHer? 

EmpowHer is a celebration of female power: body, mind and spirit.  An exclusive experience created by and for women.  A day devoted to motivating, evolving, enlightening and empowering women to uncover their authentic selves.  EmpowHer has brought together nationally recognized health and wellness experts, speakers, and entrepreneurs to collaborate and empower you in all facets of your physical, emotional, and mental health, as well as your spiritual well-being. Attendees can customize their experience by choosing from a variety of lectures, classes, and workshops tailored to their individual needs. The topics will focus on women’s interests, covering areas such as self-care, mindfulness, physical activity, financial autonomy, graceful aging, healthy eating, integrative medicine, hormone health, menopause, bone health, digestive health, skincare, entrepreneurship, gender equality and caregiving. 

 

Who Should Attend?

Proceeds from the event will benefit The Kennett Library, Unite for Her, and period poverty supporting Kennett Area Community Service (KACS), in Chester County, Pa. 

 

Unite for Her is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that works diligently and responsibly to provide financial support and educational materials to breast and ovarian cancer patients, as well as empowering women and girls of all ages to make healthy lifestyle choices that promote wellness and disease prevention.

 

Kennett Area Community Service is a nonprofit organization that provides food, housing and crisis service to under-resourced individuals and families in Kennett Square and surrounding communities.

 

What Is Included With My EmpowHer Ticket?

Your ticket includes an EmpowHer tank top, a journal, a pen, coffee, a nutrient-dense parfait, and fresh fruit for breakfast. You'll also enjoy an organic salad bar lunch. Throughout the day, you'll have access to six wellness sessions, including lectures, round table discussions, and hands-on workshops. Participate in physical activity classes such as yoga and barre. Additionally, you'll receive the opportunity for private 1:1 financial coaching. We'll conclude the day together on the terrace with mocktails and kombucha, celebrating our time together and empowering each other. 

 

Will There Be Food? 

Box Lunch Delaware is catering breakfast and lunch, mocktails courtesy of Fuel 4 Life and Babas Brew Kombucha courtesy of Olga Sorzano owner of Babas Brew.  

 

How Will I Hydrate? 

Please bring your own reusable water bottles as there is a water filling station located on each floor of the library. 

 

Is There An Age Requirement?

Participants must be 18+ 

 

Are Tickets Refundable? 

EmpowHer tickets are NOT refundable

 

Where Do I Park? 

Parking spaces are located in the lot behind the library and in the upper Y lot off Willow Street across from the event.  Off street parking is also available around Willow Street. **See Event Map**

 

What Do I Need to Bring? 

• Please consider bringing one or two boxes of sanitation products to assist us in filling KACS' truck with period essentials! For every donated box, you'll receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win EmpowHer's Women's Wellness Basket.

• Bring your photo ID and EmpowHer ticket, printed or digital to check in upon arrival. Tickets are required. Note that you cannot check in for your friend. She has to be there to sign her own waiver

• Essentials to bring: Your smile, a reusable water bottle, a yoga mat, athletic shoes, and a towel (if joining a fitness class).

• Bring your plastic and your paper currency because our vendors will accept both. 

• We will not have a bag check or storage lockers.

• A comprehensive “All Things EmpowHer Guide” will be emailed to all registered attendees a few days prior to the event.
